The Surfside Beach Recreation Department strives to provide recreational opportunities for children of all ages. Overviews of the various youth athletic programs and registration schedules are provided below.

PLEASE NOTE: Birth certificates are required for all first-time players.

Baseball - Sat., 3/01/08 - Boys - ages 9-14 - 8:00 a.m. until full - $50.00 registration fee

Softball - Sat., 3/01/08 Girls - ages 9-15 - 10:00 a.m. until full - $50.00 registration fee

All ages are as of May 1, 2008 - Players must play within their age limit

Sat. 5/10/08 - Ages 4-8 - 8:00 a.m. until full

T-Ball
Instructional program for children age 4 - $20.00 registration fee

Coach Pitch
Instructional program for children ages 5-6 - $40.00 registration fee

Machine Pitch
Instructional program for children ages 7-8 - $40.00 registration fee

All ages are as of May 1, 2008 - Players must play within their age limit

Sat., 8/16/08, ages 7-12 - 8:00 a.m. until full - $50.00 registration fee

Ages 7-8.... 90 lb. weight limit

Ages 9-10.... 135 lb. weight limit

Ages 11-12...150 lb. weight limit

All ages as of November 15, 2008 - Players must play within their age limit
