Code Enforcement Officer 

Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical duties in support of the Town’s code enforcement program; monitors and enforces a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations, including state and federal regulations related to zoning, flood, land use, building, general nuisances, health and safety, right-of-way encroachments and other matters of public concern; and serves as a resource and provides information on town regulations to property owners, residents, businesses, the general public, and other town departments.

Town Administrator 

The Town of Surfside is seeking resumes from qualified persons with proven administrative ability and at least five years municipal management experience for the position of Town Administrator. Responsible for day to day operations of town government as defined in the town ordinance. Position reports to Town Council. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written skills, knowledge of municipal management and finance, a strong and effective leadership style, outstanding interpersonal, analytical, organizational and planning skills, as well as professional integrity. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Compensation including benefits is commensurate with experience and determined by Town Council.
