A special thanks to the Keep Surfside Beach Beautiful Committee for sponsoring the “Beach Sweep”.
This is a great way for residents to donate one hour of their time for a great cause. Also a great way to meet some of your neighbors and have a chance to chat for a little while. We appreciate all of the participants. What a great way to give back a little and help our town stay beautiful.
A workshop is scheduled for this Thursday, September 3rd at 2 PM, to discuss the pier restoration process. We will be discussing the evaluations completed, other associated costs not provided in the contract, and a detail report from the finance director specifically regarding the monies set aside for this project. If all goes well at this workshop, we should be prepared to vote on the pier bid at our September 8th regular Town Council Meeting. While space is limited, everyone is invited to call in and listen. The agenda has been posted: http://www.surfsidebeach.org/Data/Sites/1/media/town-council/agendas-and-minutes/2020/903/9-3-2020-pier-workshop-agenda.pdf
The “Winner” of the September – Yard-of-the Month has been chosen. Stay tuned tomorrow for the announcement.
I welcome your input. I can be reached at email@example.com and I will respond…
Have a Great Week … Stay Safe ... God Bless … Wear a Mask … Thank You … Mayor Bob Hellyer
