There is a workshop scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd at 2 PM, to discuss the pier restoration process. We will be discussing the evaluations completed, other associated costs not provided in the contract, and a detail report from the finance director specifically regarding the monies set aside for this project. If all goes well at this workshop, we should be prepared to vote on the pier bid at our September 8th regular Town Council Meeting.  While space is limited, everyone is invited to call in and listen.  The agenda has been posted: http://www.surfsidebeach.org/Data/Sites/1/media/town-council/agendas-and-minutes/2020/903/9-3-2020-pier-workshop-agenda.pdf

Congratulations to the September Yard-of-the-Month winners, Andria and Tom Scherer at 15 S Myrtle Drive.  Take a drive by and see this beautiful yard.

Time is running out to register for fall ball with the Surfside Beach Youth Sports Association.  They are looking forward to seeing their players returning and they will send out more information on the season after registration closes.  Don’t forget that they need volunteers to coach!  They need T-ball, coach pitch and advanced coach pitches coaches the most!   For more information, check out their Facebook Page:
