Overview

Preserve, Protect, Educate.

The Surfside Beach Historical Society is an ad hoc committee of the Town of Surfside Beach. It is also a recognized 501(c)(3).

The mission of the Surfside Beach Historical Society (SBHS) is to preserve the past, protect the legacy, and educate individuals about the history of Surfside Beach, South Carolina.

The society has a 5-person board; however, membership in the Historical Society is open to anyone that wishes to join. New members may join at any meeting.

Masks are strongly recommended at all meetings.
