Wednesday night Administrator Shanahan held the first of several public workshops to discuss the future of our town by the residents. The workshop was well attended with over 30 participants conducting the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). The Administrator tells me the discussions were excellent and the results will be presented at the next council meeting after its posted on the town webpage and emailed to the participants. I want to personally thank everyone who took the time to attend and encourage others to also participate. The next workshop will be scheduled for January 2023. Your input is very important.
Contractors are moving along on the pier, about to enclose the buildings and complete the installation of the last of the pylons. The Town Council has authorized the Administrator to finalize one of the leases for the buildings, which will be announced once it has been signed.
