I am sure that some of you have noticed that the South Strand helping Hands trailer is parked in the

Resort parking lot down by the pier.  This is because Pizza Hyena is helping to restock their pantry with a can drive.  Through November 21st, bring your canned goods, nonperishable food items, and/or monetary donations to Pizza Hyena.  Each item donated will get you one entry into their drawing party being held on Saturday, November 21st from 4 PM to 6 PM where you can win a weekend at a local beach house, courtesy of Surfside Realty Company.

DHEC has extended this pop-up event because of the high turnout.  If you know anyone that needs to be tested, please have them go to this event on Friday.

The Surfside Beach Stormwater Committee wants you to know about the North Inlet-Winyah Bay Coastal Training Program called the Grand Strand Healthy Pond Series. A virtual session on Aquatic Plant Management will be given on December 1, 2020, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. All are welcome to learn more about stormwater pond ecosystems and integrated plant management solutions from a panel of pond professions.
