DHEC informed me that there were 72 people that came to be tested today at Wild Water and Wheels in Surfside. While these numbers are down from the previous weeks, they stated that they will be here again next Friday.
Pizza Hyena is helping the South Strand Helping Hand to restock their pantry with a can drive. Through November 21st, bring your canned goods, nonperishable food items and/or monetary donations to Pizza Hyena. Each item donated will get you one entry into their drawing party being held on Saturday, November 21st from 4 PM to 6 PM where you can win a weekend at a local beach house, courtesy of Surfside Realty Company.

The Surfside Beach Stormwater Committee wants you to know about the North Inlet-Winyah Bay Coastal Training Program called the Grand Strand Healthy Pond Series. A virtual session on Aquatic Plant Management will be given on December 1, 2020, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. All are welcome to learn more about stormwater pond ecosystems and integrated plant management solutions from a panel of pond professions.
