Trailer Parking in Surfside Beach During Bike Events

Free motorcycle trailer parking shall be allowed in the 13th Avenue South parking lot and the 16th Avenue North parking lot during all bike rallies. Owners shall be solely responsible for any damage or loss that may occur.


2022 Decal Information

2022 Resident and Nonresident Parking Decals will be available starting February 1, 2022.  We encourage everyone to apply for their 2022 decals on line.  Parking decals are issued daily at Town Hall. Please remember, registrations and driver licenses must be presented with the form.

Free Parking for Town of Surfside Beach sponsored events. 

One hour parking on Surfside Drive from Pinewood to Hollywood Drive for all vehicles without town parking decals.

Pay Station Kiosks

Pay Station Kiosks are located at the following parking lots at a rate of $2.00 per hour, $10.00 per day or $40.00 per week:

  • Surfside Pier
  • Yaupon Drive
  • 3rd Avenue South
  • 4th Avenue South
  • 5th Avenue South
  • 6th Avenue South
  • 13th Avenue
  • Melody Lane
  • 3rd Avenue North
  • 6th Avenue North


Parking Meters accept coins or Park Mobile (pay by phone.. When using coins you must use exact change. Parking receipt will reflect the amount deposited or paid. Place your receipt face up to visibly display it on your dashboard. The town offers metered parking for $1.75 per hour or $10.00 per day at the following locations:

  • 16th Avenue North
  • 4th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard (Payment is required to use this lot; permits or parking decals are not exempted.)

Pay by Cell

If you don’t have any bills or coins, no problem! Park Mobile is a feature that lets you pay over the phone with your credit card. It’s available at all paid parking locations.

  • Look for the green park mobile sticker on the meter.
  • Dial (877) 727-5714, listed on the sticker.
  • Register your license plate.
  • Enter the four digit zone number listed on the sticker.
  • Activate parking.
  • When you return to your vehicle, call the number listed on the sticker and it will deactivate your parking.

Rented or Commercial Golf Cart Parking

In all metered and pay to park areas, operators must pay applicable fees. In beach access areas that are unmetered and are not labeled “Pay to Park,” golf carts may park free of charge, if there is available space. These areas are located at the following beach accesses:

  • 2nd Avenue North
  • 4th Avenue North
  • 8th Avenue North
  • 9th Avenue North
  • 12th Avenue North
  • 14th Avenue North
  • 15th Avenue North
  • 16th Avenue North
  • 2nd Avenue South
  • 7th Avenue South
  • 8th Avenue South
  • 9th Avenue South
  • 10th Avenue South
  • 11th Avenue South
  • 12th Avenue South

Golf Cart Parking: As an owner of a golf cart legally registered with the Town of Surfside Beach you must obtain a parking decal that will need to be affixed to your golf cart along with the registration decal. This parking decal allows free parking in all metered, pay station and golf cart parking areas when space is available, except when prohibited by a posted sign. Golf cart only parking areas are located in the beach accesses and also in the following pay station lots:

  • 5th Avenue South
  • Surfside Pier
  • Yaupon Drive
  • 3rd Avenue North
  • 6th Avenue North
  • Melody Lane

Parking Decals

Town Decals, Purple Heart, Disabled Veterans and Handicapped placard or license plate tags may park at any public parking space free with proper decal displayed.

Remember DO NOT park in the following areas

  • Where official signs prohibit parking.
  • On sidewalks.
  • Within thirty (30) feet of an intersection not otherwise designated for parking.
  • Within ten (10) feet of any beach access, driveway and entrance or exit to any parking lot.
  • On private property without consent of the owner.
  • Within fifteen (15) feet of a fire hydrant.
  • Along the east side of Ocean Blvd., or along the west side of Ocean Blvd., without a town decal and where signs prohibit parking.
  • In any metered space, pay station area, or upon any public right of way with the vehicle facing against the proper flow of traffic unless directed by a law-enforcement officer.
  • All wheels/tires must be off the black pavement.
